Special Cleaning

Mold can grow on wood, paper, carpet and foods, as a result of moisture and improper ventilation. unless problems are fixed, mold will continue to grow. The only way to deal with mold is to eliminate the reason for having it in the first place.

Description

Mold or mould is found everywhere, inside and outside, and can grow on almost any substance when moisture is present. Mold reproduce by spores, which can be carried by air currents or people.

When these mold spores land on a moist organic surface, that is suitable for life, they begin to grow. For significant mold growth to occur, there must be a source of moisture (which could be high humidity, a source of food, and a surface capable of sustaining growth.

Health Risk

When mold spores are present in large quantities, they are a health hazard to humans, potentially causing allergic reactions and respiratory problems. These adverse respiratory health effects are associated with occupancy in buildings with moisture and mold damage.

– Allergies and sinus infections, skin rashes and irritation, asthma attacks, and worse, even death.

Mold Testing

Mold can grow on wood, paper, carpet and foods, as a result of moisture and improper ventilation. unless problems are fixed, mold will continue to grow. The only way to deal with mold is to eliminate the reason for having it in the first place.

We offer:

Swab Testing

– A sterile swab is rolled back and forth over the mold area, then the swab is sealed and submitted to the laboratory where the sample will be cultured and the type of mold will be identified.

Tape Slide Testing

– A piece of tape is placed on the mold to be tested and is then lifted on to a glass slide. Same as swab testing, it is then sealed and sent to laboratory for analysis.

Remediation

We will take every client through a process of Mold Inspection to determine the extent of mold growth and to diagnose moisture entry; erection of engineering controls to ensure that non contaminated areas are isolated; mold remediation of the contaminated area and post project reporting all as per NADCA ACR 2013 standards.

Mold remediation is the removal of mold from homes or offices to make it safe and livable. The process is costly because the materials contaminated by mold need to be replaced. The cost of mold remediation will depend on the area which is affected by mold and the material used.

Common building materials, such as gypsum, plywood, drywall, furring strips, carpets, and carpet padding are food for mold. In carpet, invisible dust and cellulose are the food sources.

With 10 years of experience within the HVAC or AC cleaning and Mold remediation sectors here in Dubai and UAE in general and with over 1,000,000Dhs in HVAC cleaning and mold remediation equipment, H&G is a one- stop solution for the complete remediation of any surface that has mold growth. Our specialists take special training that adhere to industry standards and follow special procedures to prevent any reoccurrance or spread of mold again

Beware! of fraudulent mold remediation service providers, claiming to be experts without proper training and accreditation. They are cheaper but will their work meet industry standards?

H&G holds international NADCA certification for the assessment of cleanliness and mold remediation and HVAC systems.

What we offer:

Visual Inspections
Our NADCA*-certified team will survey all areas of the building and document all observations in accordance with NADCA* Standards.

Moisture Measurements
Measuring of moisture content in walls. Floors, and other surfaces can help identify the presence and origins of water leaks.

Thermal Imaging
Thermographic cameras can verify moisture content readings by measuring temperature difference on surfaces/structures.

Temperature Readings
Temperature readings will help determine the effectiveness of an HVAC system’s cooling effectiveness and determine whether repair/servicing is required.

Relative Humidity
The performance of an HVAC system’s dehumidifying capabilities can be determined by relative humidity measurement.

Particle Count
The quantities of varying dust-particle sizes can be determined using our discrete particle counter.
